Meet Dr. Ashley St. Pierre

DVM

Dr. Ashley St. Pierre’s journey with Anclote Animal Hospital is truly one of growing up within the Anclote family. She first joined the hospital back in 2013 as a high school volunteer while completing her Veterinary Assistant Certification through Tarpon Springs High School. What started as a way to earn volunteer hours quickly turned into a calling. Over the years, she has worn just about every hat in the hospital—kennel technician, receptionist, lead technician—and now, Associate Veterinarian.

Dr. St. Pierre earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the beautiful island of St. Kitts in the West Indies, where she completed her academic studies before finishing her clinical training at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her experiences abroad and at home have helped shape her into a compassionate and well-rounded veterinarian.

She has a special passion for caring for a wide variety of species—not only dogs and cats, but also exotics, goats, sheep, donkeys, and even chickens. She loves the challenge and joy that comes with helping every animal that walks (or waddles!) through the door.

Outside of work, Dr. St. Pierre enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats, Charlie and Jasper—both adopted from Anclote Animal Hospital and now very spoiled five-year-olds. When she’s not enjoying cozy movie days at home, you can often find her outdoors hiking, paddleboarding, or exploring the beautiful freshwater springs of northern Florida.
