Dr. Wessley Putney

Her veterinary journey began in high school when she shadowed at a local veterinary clinic a few days a week, gaining early exposure to the profession. This experience solidified her passion for animal care and inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from St. Petersburg College in 2020 while working as a veterinary assistant, where she gained valuable hands-on experience and furthered her skills. In 2024, she graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

After completing her education, Dr. Putney returned to Florida to be closer to her fiancé, friends, and family. Her professional interests include preventative care, surgery, and integrative medicine.

When she’s not at work, Dr. Putney enjoys spending time outdoors, trying new restaurants, visiting local markets, and making memories with friends and family. She is looking forward to providing excellent care and developing lasting relationships with both patients and their families.
