for a Smooth Visit
All of the information you need to know about our specific policies at Anclote Animal Hospital in Tarpon Springs are outlined below, from appointments and cancellations to payment methods and prescriptions.
Appointment Policy
We prefer that clients schedule appointments rather than walk in when possible, with the obvious exception being emergencies and unexpected needs. Because complications in appointments sometimes can’t be avoided, especially when working with animals, we cannot guarantee that a veterinarian will be able to see you and your pet at exactly your appointment time.
We also offer ‘drop-off’ appointments, allowing you to drop your pet off at our facility and pick them up when their appointment is complete. This can be more convenient than waiting during your pet’s appointment. Rest assured, your pet will receive the same high level of attention and care whether you’re present at their appointment or otherwise.
Arrival/Waiting Room Policy
Please keep your dog leashed and your cat kept in a carrier when you visit our hospital. Your pet must remain properly restrained until they are in the exam room. No matter how well-behaved your pet may be, you don’t know how other animals will react. Plus, we want all pets and owners to be safe and comfortable at our facility at all times.
Payment Methods
We require full payment for services at the time that they’re rendered, including payments for prescriptions, food, and other product purchases made at our location. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash, personal checks, CareCredit® and Scratchpay.
Prescription Refill
If you’d like, we can set up a process for having your pet’s prescriptions shipped directly to your home through our convenient online store. You can also order prescriptions and pick them up at our location in-person. Just remember, all prescription refills through Anclote Animal Hospital require that you have your pet seen by one of our veterinarians.
Prescription Diets
Some pets require special food to improve their dietary balance or meet specific dietary needs. If you are in need of a prescription diet for your pet, you may order directly through our hospital, or visit our online store to have it shipped directly to your home.
