Pets: Two laborador retrievers, Bubba and Beau, two chihuahuas, Lola and Chica, 2 cats, Ephi and Miss B, and various birds.

Dr. Wesley Cochran was raised on a farm in Michigan where he enjoyed the outdoor life, with a special interest in fly fishing. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Central Michigan University. His compassion for animals led him to Michigan State University, where he graduated with high honors, receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1978. After founding and selling 2 successful practices in Michigan, he founded Anclote Animal Hospital in 1985. Since then, Dr. Cochran has been compassionately caring for generations of pets in Tarpon Springs and the surrounding areas. Dr. Cochran still has roots in Michigan, where he keeps a cabin to enjoy the many outdoor activities.

Dr. Cochran loves fly fishing and has been mastering the sport for years, he particulary loves catching bone fish on a fly reel.
